Evolution of Art

As I was going through Justin's drawing, I was amused to see how from simple lines and stick figures, his style evolved into more complicated and anatomically-correct figures.

As kids age and learn what can and what cannot be, so too their points of view change accordingly. As they learn that they live in a regimented society rigidly bound by norms, they realize that they too must comply.

Innocence lost.

Here's a FUN fact : Pablo Picasso started drawing around age 7, and among his first words was "PIS" which was short for "LAPIS" or pencil. From simple childish doodles, Picasso's style would eventually evolve into masterpieces worth tens of millions of dollars today.

So kids, start doodlin'.
