Hey! Hey! Hey! The Kids Are All Here!!!

Finally the kids came back home from their vacation. Picasso Kids Justin, Joi and Bubut spent a week in Batangas with their grandma and cousins. Judging by their tanned skin, they obviously had FUN under the hot summer sun.

Right away Justin and Joi showed me some of their masterpieces for posting. Bubut is still working on his.

And I'm still waiting for your little masterpieces. It would make Picasso Kids' Corner a lot more interesting if we could have artworks from different kids... from different countries... from different points of view. Send them over to alternatec@gmail.com and uncle jun will be delighted to post them on this site.

It would even be nicer if you could pose with your artwork as little Joi did.

Why Picasso?

Why not Picasso?

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Vincent Van Gogh. However, his tragic life story does not sound fun. and FUN is what Picasso Kids' Corner is all about.

I could call this DaVinci Kids' Corner yeah. But then wouln't this sound like these kids were into breaking codes and cracking age-old mysteries?

Besides, Picasso sounds FUN doesn't it? Just try saying it. Picasso... Fun right? Reminds me of pizza. Or peaches.

By the way, Justin, Joi and Bubut are on vacation so i still don't have their drawings for posting. Hey but don't let this stop you kids from sending in your masterpieces. E-mail them to alternatec@gmail.com and uncle jun will be more than happy to post your drawings here. I'll be waiting for them.

the beginning...

as a young 9 year old school girl, my 74-year old mother once drew a picture of a chicken with four legs. And we were all very fond of hearing her story of the 4-legged chicken.

however, as much as we imagined what she actually drew ages ago, we can never really replicate or duplicate that very unique drawing. How I wish we could've saved that drawing for future generations to see.

this thought prompted me to come up with this blog where I could save for posterity drawings little kids like my nephews Justin and Bubut, and neice Joi have created.

free from rules, limitations, and norms. radiating with innocence and humor. these masterpieces reflect the world as seen from the eyes of little children. something big people will find quite refreshing.

welcome to picasso kids' corner !
