MOTHER AND CHILD

A tender moment
between mother and child,
immortalized in digital pixels.
A work of art, no less.

PICASSO PAINTINGS

Paintings by Pablo Picasso are recognized as some of the most valuable and most expensive works of art. Here are just three of Picasso's most expensive masterpieces:
Garcon a la pipe (Boy with A Pipe) painted in 1905 when Picasso was just 24 years old. This oil on canvas painting depicts a young Parisian boy holding a pipe. This masterpiece was sold in 2004 for US$104 Million, or roughly US$120 Million today.

Dora Maar Au Chat (Dora Maar with Cat), painted in 1941, depicts Picasso's lover seated on a chair with a cat perched on her shoulders. This masterpiece was auctioned in 2006 for US$95.2 Million, or roughly US$102 Million today.

Les Noces de Pierrette (The Marriage of Pierrette) was painted in 1905, a time when Picasso faced poverty early in his career. In 1989, it was sold for US$50 Million, or roughly US$ 85 Million today.

Who knows? Maybe those old doodles you kept in your attic would also be worth millions, too , someday.

TERIYAKI KIDS

Recently, Picasso Kids Justin, Joi, and Bubut attended a birthday party at Teriyaki Boy. They enjoyed delicious Japanese food like sushi, tempura and miso soup. They also had fun playing with the Teriyaki Boy mascot, the clowns, and the soap bubble tricks. Justin took most of the pictures using his Casio Exilim 8.1 mega pixel digicam.
